Welcome to Kids Can Daycare & Preschool

Located in Nevada City, California, Kids Can Daycare and Preschool offers a Morning Preschool, Kindergarten Enrichment Program and After School Homework Program.

​Our programs are play-based and provide a fun, safe environment to enhance children's social, emotional, creative, and cognitive development. Our philosophy is that children should feel safe, comfortable and happy when they are away from their homes and their families. We offer an environment in which kids can grow socially, emotionally and academically in preparation for the next phase of their life. This is accomplished by having a small environment with ratios of 1-4 where their individual needs can be best met.

Things to Remember

• Closed Friday - August 31stFamily Swim at Kids Can - 5:00-6:30 Monday thru Thursday. No reservations necessary!

  • Children must be sun-screened BEFORE they come to Kids Can.

  • Children must have a back strap on all shoes, no flip flops.

  • Kids Can does not provide goggles. Please mark goggles with child's name.

  • Notify Kids Can if you do not want us to transport your child.

• Mosquito season is here - We use a small amount of insect repellant in the morning - Please contact us if you do not want us to use insect repellent on your child.

Wish List

• Old board games that have all the pieces.

• Soccer balls, basket balls, playground balls of any kind.

• Volunteer drivers for field trips.

• Summer clothes, sizes 4-6 (no shoes)
